Beautiful butterfly wing tests in resin :)

Hello everyone!

So this weekend I decided to experiment a little more with my resin making and use something a little different to flowers or dandelion seeds...

A couple months back, I received a little mystery box from my sister, inside there were the remains of a little tortoiseshell butterfly, who unfortunately met its end in the attic of our workplace, along with a few others (from we think heat exhaustion or being trapped in).

So I decided to keep it somewhere safe until I could preserve its beauty forever inside some resin, and here is the result...

I am very pleased with how they came out, and they will soon be made into some necklaces, although I'm a little reluctant to sell them just yet :p

New Tote Bags with my Watercolour Illustrations!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend in this fabulous weather we are currently having, with lots of ice creams and Mojitos to be had!

I worked on a little photoshoot with my niece this weekend for some new illustrated tote bags, which have all been listed in my Etsy shop here, so check em' out :)

My latest coloured pencil commission!

Here's my latest A3 size portrait commission which was created with Polychromos and Prismacolour coloured pencils.

It took a grand total of around 40 hours overall, mostly because of the detail in that shirt and piano!

New Galaxy iPhone cases added in a variety of designs!

So I have been busy designing some new iPhone cases, and decided to give them that cosmic edge, 

because as you may I know I am a bit obsessed with it :)

Designs are currently rabbits, cats, unicorns and a wolf head (a little Game of Thrones-esque)

They are all listed in my shop for only £10 and fit iPhone 4,4S,5 and 5S

Quick sewing project!

Hi everyone!

So my niece has been bugging me to make her a dolly for quite sometime, and last weekend I had the time to get the sewing machine out and give it a whirl!

I am actually really pleased with the results, considering this is probably my second sewing project ever since like school, plus I got to use my shiny purple baby :)

If you would like to make a dolly like this one, I used this tutorial, which has some really easy to follow instructions and clear photos to help :)

Going crazy with ProCreate

Hi!

So I have recently discovered an app for iPad called ProCreate, it is a painting app with amazing abilities and it also records a time-lapse! Woop!

This makes me happy as I have made time-lapses in the past of my coloured pencil drawings (the old fashioned way) and even though they are very satisfying in the end, they take foreverrrrr to put together.

Anyway! My first real piece of art on this app was of a sharky, which I put together while I was on holiday, and I have created a video of the entire process to share with you lovely people :)
