My positive sketchbook idea!
You may have noticed that I've been a little quieter on here lately, unfortunately I've been suffering from a patch of depression for the last couple of months. Which means I've completely lost my motive to make anything creative....and I've struggled a lot.
I have good and bad days, but one day last week I came up with the brilliant idea of creating a 'positive sketchbook', which I will use to paint any positive imagery from that day, or any phrases I've thought up that have made me smile!
Not only will this act as something I can keep looking at to cheer me up, but I also hope to share my entries with you lovely lot in the hope I can help others too!
Anyway, i'll shut up now! Here's my first entry :)

FOR THE WATCH!!
Hello!
To celebrate my love of Game of Thrones, and the end of the series, I've created some fan art of the one who knows nothing!
It's also a little hint at the finale, if you haven't already seen it. (WHY THE HELL HAVEN'T YOU?!!)
Cool grey copics and bristol board, took two evenings to draw roughly. Enjoy!

Oh dear oh dear...
Oh dear it's been a while since I updated this mighty fine Blog, my humblest apologies to all my followers... Life had thrown a few unwanted problems my way at the end of last year, but no fear, I am well on my way of being back on track ;)
So a lot has happened since I last spoke, which means there are also lots of art pieces to show you all, along with many jewellery designs!
I've decided to pace them out week by week to keep ya'll guessing....So for now, enjoy a collage of 'sneak peeks' showing some of the bits I've made since my last post....
Oh and belated Happy Halloween, Merry Christmas AND Happy New year!!

Beautiful butterfly wing tests in resin :)
Hello everyone!
So this weekend I decided to experiment a little more with my resin making and use something a little different to flowers or dandelion seeds...
A couple months back, I received a little mystery box from my sister, inside there were the remains of a little tortoiseshell butterfly, who unfortunately met its end in the attic of our workplace, along with a few others (from we think heat exhaustion or being trapped in).
So I decided to keep it somewhere safe until I could preserve its beauty forever inside some resin, and here is the result...

I am very pleased with how they came out, and they will soon be made into some necklaces, although I'm a little reluctant to sell them just yet :p

My latest coloured pencil commission!
Here's my latest A3 size portrait commission which was created with Polychromos and Prismacolour coloured pencils.
It took a grand total of around 40 hours overall, mostly because of the detail in that shirt and piano!
Hope you like :)

Graphite and charcoal portrait of my Nana :)
Sorry for the absence again, I am so sorry! *slaps wrist*
But my life has taken a few changes recently and finally things are getting back on track :) Yayyyy
So here's one of the artworks I finished at the end of last year, it was created in ordinary shop bought graphite pencils and some Faber Castell charcoal to deepen the shadows and contrast. It is a portrait of my late Nana as a gift for my Mum for Christmas, and as you can see from the photos, my reference pic was pretty small and crumpled so I'm hoping I did a good enough job :)

Christmas is coming and please help support Cat Protection UK
So this Christmas I've decided to run a little project, consisting of me creating three kitty related festive designs from watercolour, and turning them into beautiful Christmas cards.
The reason I wanted to partake in this adventure, is to raise money for the amazing charity Cat Protection UK, who do some incredible, selfless work around the UK to help homeless and abandoned kitties. They are also a charity with a special place in my heart, because they helped me with microchipping and neutering services when I chose to take in a very special little black cat off the streets of London when I was living as a student.
So in other words, I really want to help and say thank you to these guys, along with raising some money to keep them going, and changing the lives of cats and their owners.
So please help me to help them by purchasing one of my cards and I will donate 50p, or if you buy a set of 3 I will donate £1.50 to Cat Protection UK.
I also would like to make clear that all costs are going towards materials and listing fees, and I am keeping no profits for myself.
If you would like to support my project, you can purchase the cards in my shop here
Thank you :)
